June is "Pride Month," a time to reflect on LGBTQ+ rights and dignity. During this important month, we are launching a challenge to recruit 50 new monthly donors to ensure our programs for LGBTQ+ youth remain sustainable for the future.
To create an environment where everyone feels invaluable and to sustain our organization, we not only need the 7 hours per week to run the safe space and counseling support programs, but also approximately 16 hours of weekly maintenance, management, and administrative operations.

We need approximately 150,000 yen per monthin operating expenses to maintain this space where every LGBTQ+ youth is respected.
Therefore, we are looking for 50 donors who can help co-sustain this space with a gift of 3,000 yen per month.
We want LGBTQ+ youth to know
that they are not alone
There are many LGBTQ+ children and youth who don’t feel safe to talk openly about themselves either at school or at home and many end up isolated and struggling.
Research shows that more than half of LGBTQ+ teenagers have had thoughts of suicide in the past year. We also know that the risk goes down significantly when they know there is a safe place where they can access support.
